Ken Bueche Cartridge Box for Arron Lipe

I made the following box based on the origonal ones pictured. This box was made for Arron Lipe of the 7th Ohio. This was my first “military” item and I forgot to get a picture of the strap. The strap was a “repair” of webbing between the leather strap which had tore. All leather was veg tan sewn with linen thread. The block was carved from rough cut oak timber. I will be making more of these in variations.
