Shop Rifles from Colonial Williamsburg by Wallace Gusler and H, Lewis

Rifle one is by Shop Master Wallace Gusler and rifle two is by H. Lewis, Apprentice. The Wallace Gusler Rifle is curly maple and the H. Lewis rifle is black walnut. Both rifles are signed Colonial Williamsburg VA 1969. Shop rifles are studied toady for correct period carving and architecture. The H. Lewis Rifle is in the style of the Johanes Farber Rifle in Shumways book. Both rifle hardware were cast from the same patterns made by Wallace Gusler as seen in the "Gunsmith of Williamsburg".
