Ian Pratt Iron Mounted Rifle

Stocked from a plank of American Black Walnut, this rifle features a swamped 31" Getz .54 caliber barrel and a Chambers round face Virginia lock, engraved. Loosely based on early / mid 18th Century sporting rifles, this gun is a handy size for hunting. Sliding wood lid patchbox, coin silver wrist inlay, relief carving at barrel tang, entry pipe and nose of comb. Hand forged and engraved iron buttplate and trigger guard, hand made side plate, sights, ramrod pipes and tapered ram rod, and a nice light single trigger at 13 1/2 length of pull.
